With its distinctive Century Ride seatstays, the DOGMA K was created in collaboration with the Sky Pro Cycling Team for classic races in Northern Europe. A favorite of long-ride enthusiasts, the DOGMA K is a superbike that perfectly combines comfort and performance without compromise. The carbon fiber used is the same TORAYCA 65HM1K nano alloy used in the DOGMA 65.1 THINK 2. The cable routing is also THINK 2, making it compatible with both mechanical and the latest electric components.
The frame has asymmetrical sections to accommodate the various stresses caused by pedaling motion; the basic differences from the DOGMA 65.1 frame are an approximately 1 degree less seat angle and a head tube angle of 1.5 degrees. The seatstays are slim and slightly curved, and the traditional Onda monostay is not used. Tire clearance is also greater, allowing for the mounting of larger tires for rough terrain.
These geometries were adopted for use in special races such as Paris-Roubaix. The extended wheelbase softens longitudinal stiffness and provides excellent shock absorption over bumpy surfaces. However, lateral stiffness is essential for cornering and sprinting, especially on paved surfaces, so it is kept firm.
